This is the first of a series of posts I plan to do about great places to take pictures here in Provo, Utah. Since moving from perpetually-green Oregon (yes, also perpetually rainy – the cost of vegetation that looks alive), I’ve been looking for places around Provo that could be potential photoshoot locations (and that don’t involve anything dead, brown, or brittle). Spring is right around the corner but until then, here are a couple of places that will work for any season.
Exhibit A – Bluish-green Warehouse:

This is located at the end of my street so I kind of feel like I own it. Nevertheless I am sharing it with anyone else who does a search for “provo photo shoot locations” (like I did and came up with very little, by the way).
Exhibit B – Bright Orange Warehouse:

This is maybe one hundred feet away from the Blue Warehouse so imagine my delight when I found it (also on my street) while driving home.
Directions: From BYU campus, drive south on 500 E until you can’t drive anymore. The orange warehouse will be on your right and the blue one will be right in front of you.
I love these walls thanks for sharing your find!
Thanks so much! I love these! Any more you like???
Hey there!
Thanks for posting this! My wife and I were looking had very little luck finding provo locations too, and had the same idea as you. We’ve made a similar post if you want to check it out: http://www.snippitsphotography.com/blog/?p=134
Also, we’d been looking for directions to that blue warehouse, so double thanks!
