I got to do a shoot tonight with a family friend I’ve known since we moved to Oregon when I was five (24 years ago!) It had been many years since we’d seen each other and it was so fun to meet her boys and husband. Here are a couple photographs from the shoot.

Miss Madeline

June 21, 2010

This is one of my sweet nieces who came to visit for a week last month.

After I took a few shots of her, she asked if she could take some pictures of me, so I gave her the camera and then my oldest came running over. I love that she got this shot because I’m almost certain an adult never could have coaxed that kind of smile out of Ezra.

Because we are back in Oregon for a bit, I had the opportunity to photograph some good friends and their super cute and chubby little boy. We went to Jackson Frazier Wetlands park in Corvallis and the sun was just setting. I’m posting a few pictures now with more to come soon.

H Family Sneak Peek

We met this awesome family when we lived in Thailand. It was so fun to get together again and see how their kids have grown.

One More of Baby A

April 26, 2010

There are quite a few wonderful shots of Baby A. Here is one of baby and mama that I didn’t originally post but love.

I have another newborn session tomorrow so stay tuned for more pictures…

Baby A, 7 days old

April 15, 2010

This little girl is the chubbiest newborn I’ve ever seen. She was a dream the whole time and made the session so easy. Also, isn’t her mama beautiful?

The best window for newborn pictures is from 5-8 days after birth, so if you are expecting and would like pictures of your newborn, please contact me at jade[at]jadenoel.com to schedule a session.

M Family Sneak Peak

March 25, 2010

I had a great time with the M family. Their little girl was darling and put on a brave face in spite of the cold. Here is a little taste from the session.

I met Cynthia through an email I sent out, looking for people who would be interested in birth photography. She is due in just a few weeks (and I am really excited to do a birth photography session with her), but she wanted to get some maternity pictures as well before it’s too late.
They are from Brazil and her mom came just a few days ago to help with the new baby. I wish I had been able to get more pictures of her mom. She was busy caring for their little guy (who was having a hard time and so was also absent from most of the pictures). They are such a sweet family. Check it out:
